Choosing Amy Weison for my senior pictures was a great decision! Being in front of the camera can be uncomfortable, but Amy immediately put me at ease. Her energy was so bright and positive that I couldn’t help but have a blast! Coaching me through various poses really highlighted my best angles. With my favorite music playing in the background, lights flashing, laughing and having fun, Amy made me feel like a model!
The results were stunning. I had never felt so beautiful in any photo before.
The pictures could not have been more perfect! With such a huge variety of gorgeous photos and options to choose from, it was actually tough to pick my favorites. Amy’s professional expertise knew how to capture the best of ME! I can honestly say that I’ll treasure my portraits for a lifetime.

My mom went to high school with Amy Weison - which made my senior photo shoot (and my sister's) a special experience. my is a perfectionist - before snapping every picture she would fix my hair fly-aways and reposition my accessories. She knew how I should stand and pose so every image was flattering. (Very important for an 18-year old girl!) Most importantly, I didn't feel like just another client - Amy made me feel like her own daughter! Non-candid photography can be nerve-wracking, but I NEVER FELT OVERWHELMED. My session with Amy was FUN and relaxing which ensured that my senior pictures captured the "REAL ME". All of the photos turned out BEAUTIFULLY! I was proud to display my pictures for the various senior presentations at Lake Travis High School, and my parents still treasure Amy's work as they capture such an exciting time in all of our lives!

The Amy Weison Senior Experience was one that I will never forget. From the very start of our communication Amy was sweet and encouraging. She made me feel comfortable and made the session a stress free positive environment. Her studio was set up beautifully and she also will take you off site. Amy made me feel like the most important person in the world and gave me such confidence. We shared many smiles and laughs during the session and I felt like I had known her my whole life. After being photographed I felt immensely more confident in myself because of her. She was wonderful at picking breathtaking backdrops, poses and helping me accessorize. The portraits I received are some of my favorite pictures and really show the natural beauty of the person being photographed. I cherish these portraits that are displayed in my home and bring joy to my heart when I am back to visit. There is no one else as personable and caring as she is. My experience with Amy Weison was wonderful and provided me with photographic memories from my final days in high school. Although I was very shy during my high school years, she made me feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. Amy's enthusiasm encouraged me to allow my personality to shine despite my anxiety beforehand. I found myself very excited for our second photography session because of Amy’s enthusiasm, creativity, and encouragement. Even after eight years, these are still my favorite photographs and I feel proud to have these beautiful images to cherish and show off for the rest of my life! My daughter, Gabrielle, suffers from a misunderstood birth defect called Mobius syndrome. With this defect she has a facial palsy limiting her ability to smile. This birth defect is particularly challenging when Gabby is photographed. Photographers have instructed her to smile a toothy grin jeopardizing her natural beauty and self-esteem.
I met Amy Weison when she photographed the Vandergrift High School Cheerleaders. Amy did a beautiful job working with the cheerleaders in a natural
setting. When selecting a photographer for my daughter’s senior portraits, I was intrigued by Amy’s ability to illustrate the natural beauty and talent of graduating seniors. She captured the beauty and personality that distinguished each individual. I wrote to Amy and told her about Gabrielle’s Mobius syndrome. I asked her to reflect the natural beauty of my daughter in a photograph without the cookie cutter smile.
Before we went to the session I asked Gabrielle what image she wanted to portray as a graduating senior. Gabrielle is not a typical teenager, and wanted to be photographed as a “classy and sophisticated” young woman. Gabrielle carefully selected her outfits, makeup, and hairstyle to support the image she wanted to portray to family and loved ones.
When we went to the session, Amy immediately made Gabrielle feel at ease and understood her goals. Amy narrowed down the selection of outfits, and chose the perfect in-studio and external site for the session. Throughout the session Amy made Gabby feel beautiful and comfortable making small talk and explaining the image the photos would capture.
When we previewed the photographs, we were amazed. Amy was able to highlight Gabby’s assets including hazel eyes, coiffed eyebrows, porcelain complexion, and stunning features. She created poses and backdrops that helped Gabby present the image she wanted to portray. When Gabby shared her senior portraits at events including the Cheerleader’s banquet or the National Charity League Award Ceremony, people were in awe and asking for the name of her photographer. Her photographs were the best I have ever seen and are truly stunning. We LOVED Alayna's high school senior session! Alayna tends to be a little bit reserved until she knows people, and Amy was able to really bring out her personality and create an atmosphere that allowed Alayna to shine. She felt so comfortable the entire time Amy was doing the photo session. And the photos were GORGEOUS! Not just a little bit good, GORGEOUS. Picture after picture...We couldn't choose. The whole family voted and everyone had a different favorite. In the end we decided to not only order a portrait, but an entire book of photos because they were all that amazing. Alayna went to college out of state, so when I was missing her I could flip through the book that I keep in my office. It was so comforting to have the beautiful reminder of my baby girl. Amy has a gift of bringing out the best in a person and capturing it with her camera. We couldn't be happier with our results.
